There are many organisations out there helping the community, so what are we doing?
The key objective for Madtasc is to equip the youth from the young age of 12 to 25yrs to priorities in limitless opportunities. A Madtasc programme is a prevention care model which gives awareness and self development programmes, goal coaching and outcomes-based interventions. Madtasc values are excellence, integrity and motivation. The programme aims to develop the best character of the individual through skills and resources.
We are not just all talk…we are active too!
I see this programme as an answer to the community of Khayelitsha and schools in Khayelitsha. Madtasc brings change to the youth as they are facing many challenges growing in a high crime rate township. Madtasc programme is preventing youth from adding to crimes but bring the solution to crime. Recently there is a high violence level in Khayelitha that is happening in schools, Madtasc programmes brings a solution to the violence as parents and teachers do not know how to handle the violence happening in schools and afterschool.
“There is no trust more sacred than the one the world holds with children. There is no duty more important than ensuring that their rights are respected, that their welfare is protected, that their lives are free from fear and want and that they grow up in peace.”
